Spare Parts Kit

  • Replacement parts for the handle including washer assembly, pressure gauge, valve assembly, comfort grip, valve spring, and trigger sleeve

Extension Barrels

  • Standard lengths include 2ft., 3ft, 4 ft., and 5ft. extensions
  • Interchangeable with the 4 ft. barrel on the AIR-SPADE® Series 2000

Auxiliary Handle

Clamps securely around barrel providing a handle at right angles.

Dirt Guards

Standard and large dirt shields fit around the barrel and can be moved along its length.

Nozzles

  • Alternate sizes are available to match full range of air compressors (see table below)
  • All nozzles run at 90 psig so same hardness of soil can be excavated
  • Nozzles dig roughly in proportion to amount of air (scfm) used
  • All nozzles are interchangeable on barrel

45 ° Adapter

  • Turns nozzle at 45 ° to barrel

Storage Bag

Soft sided storage bag measures 12 in high by 70 in long. Comes with an adjustable carrying strap and large internal pocket. Made of tough, black 300/600 denier nylon with a pvc liner and full length zipper.

High Pressure Regulator

Regulator for using AIR-SPADE® with 25 scfm or 60 scfm nozzle from high pressure air bottles.

  • Input fitting - CGA 347 - Fits any high pressure SCBA connection for 1800 to 6000 psig bottles (alternate fittings available upon request).

Soil Compaction Tester

The Soil Compaction Tester is a penetrometer which measures the firmness of soil. The tester is supplied with two tips: a 1/2-inch tip for use in firm soil and a 3/4-inch tip for use in soft soil. The dial indicator has two scales, one for use with each tip. Colors indicate ranges of compaction where: green means roots can grow well, yellow means fair growth, and red means poor growth.

Soil Moisture Meter

The TH20 portable moisture meter provides an easy to use, accurate means to measure volumetric moisture content. It uses a microwave signal to measure the dielectric constant of the soil which is converted to volumetric water content. Specifications

Spray Shields

By customer request, CEG now offers portable spray shields for use with the Air-Spade.

The free standing, roll-up screen measures 6 feet wide by 2 1/2 feet tall and is made from two layers of vinyl reinforced with an internal galvanized wire mesh. Solid safety yellow on one side with yellow and black stripes on the other, it comes with five 10 inch long tent spikes for securing to the ground via grommets.

The safety orange vinyl panel is 48” by 48” square and rolls up for easy storage. The compact stand has 4 legs for stability that also fold. A custom logo can be printed on the panel for customer advertisement. Also available is a carrying / storage bag for 2 shields and stands.
